    Hello Simon,

doing some studies on 1700's. The original Hall had a Blacksmith, could "Blacksmith's Cottage" The St. be the original work/home of Blacksmiths from those days? If so, was it handed down through the generations and what surname might it have been?

Oh BTW, what became of the Swan Pub?

    Thank you and regards.

Hi Tamara, Well, the church is modern (150 years old) but some of the houses here are a bit older. Mine is 550 years old.

Just a Hi! from Los Angeles where we don't have parish councils or churches built around the time of Robin Hood! Just happened on your website-- wonderful fields and trees in golden twilight.
    Sincerely,
    Tamara M.
